After relocating to Mill Valley, the firm continued its Self-Sufficient Village master plans including the Cabo Baja Resort in Cabo San Lucas, while expanding into smaller scale residential, hospitality and mixed-use projects. In 2006 a showroom and garage for a collection of antique Mercedes Benz's, as well as a large greenhouse, were completed in Sonoma Valley; the existing house was completely remodeled as well. In 2007 an accessory building / work studio was designed next to a four-acre lake near the Mendocino coast of Northern California; this three-story structure comprises storage, office space and guest quarters. Projects have been completed for private residences in San Francisco Bay Area communities of Pacific Heights, Walnut Creek and Mill Valley. The Wolf House Inn is a boutique, upscale, condominium hotel proposed for Sonoma Valley. New residences are currently being designed in Mendocino and Sonoma Valley. John has won two historic preservation awards for his restoration of historic elements in Jack London Village. The smaller firm's composition has enabled John to work with each client throughout every stage of design and construction. In all projects he continues to incorporate the energy defensive concepts, implement sustainable strategies, and design in harmony with the environment..
